Moldova

    Rising from the dust of the Soviet Union, the Republic of Moldova became an independent country in 1991.  Though the country is more open for the Gospel in comparison to its days under strict communism, the Moldovan people are still starving for the spiritual truth of the Gospel.  Of the nearly 4 million people, almost 98% are considered Eastern Orthodox.
